Morning At Rocky Creek Bridge

This is a studio painting that was created from a plein air study and several digital images of the scene.  This is one of my favorite locations along the coast between Big Sur and Carmel.  The location is looking south from a pull out just south of the entrance to the restaurant at Rocky Point.  Perhaps its the cows in the foreground pasture or just the spectacular view.  Sometimes I wonder how long this will last in that I see what looks like developers constantly checking out the location on this private land that must be worth a small fortune.  I hope that this will always remain an unobstructed view without some huge condo complex or hotel sitting right in the middle of the view!
