Camas Bloom

This is a demonstration painting done during one of Mike's one day workshops at his studio in Placerville, CA.  The subject of this workshop was color.  Mike described his recommended color palette of a warm and a cool of each primary plus white and two modifier colors of Yellow Ocher and Burnt Sienna.  He also described color palettes for three complimentary color schemes:  Red and Green, Orange and Blue, and Yellow and Violet.  This painting was done using the Yellow/Violet color scheme.
